Why do I receive an ERRP email from ICANN?

The organisation that sent the email in question is ICANN. This is the global umbrella organisation for the registration of .com and several other domain names.

They send emails regarding the renewal date of domains with the following extensions: .com, .net, .org, .info, .jobs, .biz, .name, .mobi, .asia, .xxx, and .pro. These emails are sent as reminders by ICANN, we have no influence on these emails.

You do not have to worry about renewing your domain names. Domain names that you have registered via TransIP will only be cancelled if you have explicitly given instructions to do so from your control panel. You do not need to take any further action to extend your domain name.

If you have moved your domain name to TransIP, the registration date of your domain will change to the transfer date. ICANN uses the original registration date for the ERRP email and not the moving date. As a result, you will receive the ERRP email on a different date (the registration date) than you may expect (the moving date).
