    Wat is een vCPU?

On the various VPS platforms of TransIP you will come across the term 'vCPU'. You are probably familiar with CPU cores and threads, but possibly not with vCPU. We use the term vCPU to indicate a virtual CPU core. We do not distinguish between cores and threads: our VPS platforms are set up in such a way that the hypervisor only offers virtualized CPU cores to your VPS. There is no difference in the operation of the cores of your VPS, regardless of whether the hypervisor uses a core or thread for this.
